Toshiba's custom-made Wall of Tweets brought a social dimension to its presentation at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show.
Toshiba, one of the world’s largest hardware manufacturers well-known for its high quality products has asked the UX Passion team to develop a wonderful Wall of Tweets solution for their presentation at CES – the largest consumer electronics show in the world.
By combining our award-winning Wall of Tweets platform with additional services such as Instagram, TwitPic, YFrog and others, we have delivered an engaging and interactive solution enabling Toshiba and their guests to share tweets, images and other social media content in real time on a big wall.
Following the very successful transition from plugin-based architecture (Microsoft Silverlight) to a platform-independent HTML, JS and CSS technology stack, we can now provide customers like Toshiba with the best possible user experiences regardless of their technology or other platform preferences.
Of course, that means that the Wall of Tweets experience can be run on a wide variety of devices from desktop and laptop Macs and PCs to a range of smartphones and tablets, including Apple’s iPhone and iPad and dozens of Android-based devices.
As always, we remain committed to delivering the best possible user and service experiences on all screens, devices and platforms.
